Editing the information on a single case is great. However, repeating the same type of edit on multiple cases could be a daunting task for a large number of cases. Luckily, PHDwin has two editors designed to do multi-case/mass/batch editing. The two tools used to make changes to groups of cases are: the Global Editor . Both editors can often be used to accomplish the same goal, but sometimes one tool is faster or better suited for a particular task than the other.

In general, the Global Editor should be used to make the same change across all cases, such as applying the same price model. The Grid Editor is an Excel-like tool that is better for editing values that may be different on each case, such as ID Codes or ownership. The Grid Editor can also be used to quickly check the inputs on each case for several cases at a time. But often, the same task or edit can be accomplished with both tools.
