The loan report is a tool for calculating loan payment based on the loan amount, interest rates and other information provided as shown below (left image). Assuming a company applies for a loan to pay for the 10 well drilling prospect investment shown in the Sum Rev & Exp Pie, to generate a payment schedule for the loan and determine the loan payoff date, the input parameters shown on the right image below could be used. The loan amount is the total investment amount of $55.50 million. The first and last page of the loan evaluation summary is shown below as well. This report indicates that the loan would be paid off in 11.08 years if 50% of the net operating income is dedicated to loan payment.
