For custom imports, there is a token that maps to each PHDwin field that can be imported. The following section describes each import token you will see. The tokens are listed by the section in which they appear in the program's Import Center: Case Relationships, Case Titles, Columnar Production, Daily Production, Decks/Models, Economics, Other, Price/Expense, Prod Volumes, Projections, Test Data and Wellbore Completion. See Sample CSV Imports for sample setup for different data types.

Note: If an import token says it is dependent on another token, that means the token needs to be selected and precede it in the import source table.

Offset of a case from the Project in days.

Project Date

Start date for the project.

Project Name

Name of an existing or new project.

Case API Code

Maps alphanumeric value to "API Number" field of the default ID Codes form ONLY. Must be preceded by "Primary Import ID Code" token.

Case Memo

Maps to the Memo field of the default Memos form. To assign memo to a specific date, value must be preceded by "Case Memo Date", otherwise memo defaults date to present day. Must be preceded by "Primary Import ID Code" token.

Case Memo Date

Maps to the date field (MM/DD/YYYY) of corresponding Case Memo of the default Memos form. Must be used in combination with and precede the "Case Memo" token to have the data applied. Must be preceded by "Primary Import ID Code" token.

Case Multiplier

Maps numeric value to the Case Multiplier field of the default Eco Options form. Accepts positive and negative values. Must be preceded by "Primary Import ID Code" token.

Case Name

Maps alphanumeric value to the "Case Name" field of the default General Info form. Maximum 60 characters. Must be preceded by "Primary Import ID Code" token.

Country

Maps alphanumeric value to the "Country" field of the default General Info form. Maximum 45 characters. Must be preceded by "Primary Import ID Code" token.

County

Maps alphanumeric value to the "County" field of the default General Info form. Also used for 2nd level Administrative equivalent to County (like Parish or Municipality). Maximum 45 characters. Must be preceded by "Primary Import ID Code" token.

Field Code

Maps alphanumeric value to "Field Code" field of the default ID Codes form.  Will contain Stage Field codes from commercial data vendors. Must be preceded by "Primary Import ID Code" token.

Field Name

Maps alphanumeric value to the "Field" data field of the default General Info form. Maximum 60 characters. Must be preceded by "Primary Import ID Code" token.

Gas Gatherer

Maps alphanumeric value to "Gas Gatherer" field of the default General Info form. Maximum of 60 characters. Must be preceded by "Primary Import ID Code" token.

Gas Gravity

Maps numeric value to Gas Specific Gravity (Reference Air) in the Production Test tab of the Case Editor. Supports values > 1.0. One allowed per case. Multiple values not supported; last value imported will be used. No support for importing to Reservoir Fluids Tests. Requires "Primary Import ID Code" only.

Latitude

Maps numeric value to "Latitude" field of the default General Info form. Supports positive and negative values to 6 decimal places. No support for Min. or Sec. Must be preceded by "Primary Import ID Code" token.

Location

Maps alphanumeric value to "Location" field of the default General Info form. Maximum of 60 characters. Must be preceded by "Primary Import ID Code" token.

Longitude

Maps numeric value to "Longitude" field of the default General Info form. Supports positive and negative values to 6 decimal places. No support for Min. or Sec. Must be preceded by "Primary Import ID Code" token.

Major Phase

Maps alphanumeric value to "Major Phase" field of the default General Info form. Must be preceded by "Primary Import ID Code" token.

Offshore

Maps True/False value to the Offshore/Onshore toggle on the default General Info form. Must be preceded by "Primary Import ID Code" token.

Oil Gatherer

Maps alphanumeric value to "Gas Gatherer" field of the default General Info form. Maximum of 60 characters. Must be preceded by "Primary Import ID Code" token.

Oil Gravity

Maps numeric value to "Oil Gravity" in the Production Tests tab of the Case Editor and sets the gravity units to Specific Gravity. Can be viewed on the Case Editor's Expense tab.  Supports values > 1.0.

Operator Code

Maps alphanumeric value to "Operator Code" field of the default ID Codes form. Must be preceded by "Primary Import ID Code" token.

Operator Name

Maps alphanumeric value to "Operator Name" field of the default General Info form. Maximum of 60 characters. Must be preceded by "Primary Import ID Code" token.

Primary Import ID Code

This is a special import token, prompted for during the initial import set up, used to associate all remaining data in a given record to one specific case with a unique alphanumeric value. This token will automatically map to the first data element per record of any data to be imported. It is recommended the data element precede all other fields in the import file. It can only be mapped once per table or sheet. Will populate case "Case Name" filed of the default General Info form if creating new cases without mapping a Case Name in import file.

PRMS Category

Maps to the "PRMS Category" field of the default General Info form. The category falls under the case's class. Examples of PRMS category include proved, probable, possible, etc. Must be preceded by "Primary Import ID Code" token.

PRMS Class

Maps to the "PRMS Class" field of the default General Info form. Examples of PRMS class include reserves, contingent, prospective, etc. Must be preceded by "Primary Import ID Code" token.

PRMS Subcategory

Maps to the "PRMS Subcategory" field of the default General Info form. Examples of PRMS subcategories include producing, non-producing, shut-in, behind pipe, etc. Must be preceded by "Primary Import ID Code" token.

Res Category (Class & Cat Abbr)

Maps Reserve Category abbreviations to the reserve category. The following abbreviations are converted: DP (Producing), BP (Behind Pipe), NP (Non-Producing), SI (Shut-In), UD (Undeveloped). Does not convert: PA (P&A) or IJ (Injection)

Res Pressure

Maps one Reservoir Pressure per test point. Requires "Test Date-Start Record" OR "Well Number-Start Test" w/ "Test Date" or "Well Number-Start Test-No Append" w/ "Test Date" on same line. Units are defined by existing case convention for existing cases or default import unit convention for new cases.

Res Temp

Maps one Casing Pressure per test point. Requires "Test Date-Start Record" OR "Well Number-Start Test" w/ "Test Date" or "Well Number-Start Test-No Append" w/"Test Date" on same line. Units are defined by existing case convention for existing cases or default import unit convention for new cases.

Reservoir

Maps alphanumeric value to the "Reservoir" data field of the default General Info form. Maximum 60 characters. Must be preceded by "Primary Import ID Code" token.

Retrieval Code

Maps alphanumeric value to "Retrieval Code" field of the default ID Code form. Do not map for Aries import. Requires "Primary Import ID Code" only

RRC District Code

Maps alphanumeric value to "RRC Dist Code" field of the default ID Code form. Requires "Primary Import ID Code" only

State

Maps alphanumeric value to the "State" field of the default General Info form. Also used for 1st level Administrative equivalent to State (like Province or Region). Maximum 20 characters. Must be preceded by "Primary Import ID Code" token.

Temp Gradient (deg/100ft or deg/100m)

Imports the average temperature increase per 100 ft or 100 M. Units are defined by case's existing Unit Convention or default convention is used if new case is created. No unit conversions are applied.

Total Depth

Maps numeric value to the "Total Depth" field of the default General Info form. Maximum value of 100,000. Units based on Convention applied to existing cases, or default Convention for new cases. Must be preceded by "Primary Import ID Code" token.

Tubing Diameter

Imports the inside diameter of a tubing string. Only one per case supported. Case units or default conventions for new cases are used. No unit conversions are applied.

User-Def Gravity (cur product)

User-Def Gravity Type (cur product)

Acceptable values are "API", "SG", or "Gas"

User-Defined ID Code

Uses column header to map value to a corresponding ID Code in the ID Codes form. Can create new ID Codes if column header does not exist as an ID Code in database. New ID Codes will default to String input type. Existing ID Codes will honor formatting of Number, String, or Date as specified in the PHDwin database. Numbers can support up 15 significant digits, and Strings have a maximum of 60 characters. Must be preceded by "Primary Import ID Code" token.

Volume Multiplier

Maps numeric value to the Volume Multiplier field of the default Eco Options form. Accepts positive and negative values. Must be preceded by "Primary Import ID Code" token.

Well Num- Append to Case Name

Used to map test data or wellbore/completion data to the correct wellbore in the case.  This text will be appended to the Case Name of a case.  This is the import trigger token for production tests and for wellbore/completion data

Well Spacing

Maps numerical value to the "Spacing" field of the default General Info form. Maximum value of 10,000,000. Units based on Convention applied to existing cases, or default Convention for new cases. Must be preceded by "Primary Import ID Code" token.

Well Type

Maps value to the "Well Type" field of the default General Info form. Values must match existing Well Types (Flowing, Pump, Inject, Source, SWD, Unknown). Must be preceded by "Primary Import ID Code" token.

User-defined Product [Columnar]

Used for importing production for user-defined products.  The product name is listed in this column for every record of production.  Requires Prod year(yyyy)-Start Record token.  Base units are defined in the target cases' convention.

Water Production (Apr)

Maps numeric value to the monthly production table for "Water" product for the month specified. Must be preceded by both "Primary Import ID Code" and "Prod Year (YYYY)" tokens. Base units are set by default unit Convention in database for new cases, or applied unit Convention on existing cases.

Water Production (Aug)

Linked Date options include "Eco Start", "FirstProd [Product Name]", "Seg [Segment Number] [Product Name]", or "DeclSeg [Product Name]". Deck Stream

Deck Value

Model Name

Model Deck Name that acts as the trigger token for Model Deck stand alone import. It must be the leftmost column in order to begin Model Deck import.

Case Discount Factor (%)

Maps numeric discount rate in percentage (%) for each case's discounting. "Allow Individual Case Override" (Project Properties Discounting tab) must be checked on before different discounting rates can be used on each case. The project discount rates will always be used to calculate totals and subtotals.

Init Gas Rev Int

Imports initial product-specific gas revenue interest for a case.  Requires token "Init Work Int (frac)" to be used simultaneously.  Overwrites Init Rev Int (frac) when gas is major phase. Values should be decimal and are restricted to 8 decimal places.

Init Lease NRI (frac)

Maps numeric value to the "Lease NRI" field of the Initial Ownership record. Supports values between 0.0 and 1.0 with up to 8 decimal places. Requires "Primary Import ID Code" token.

Init Oil Rev Int

Investment Type Net/Gross

Well Num- No Append Case Name

Used to map test data to existing wells in cases.  The Case Name is left fully intact.
